Transformation Sensations Bring Joy to the Nations!

I just wanted to change the background, the rain thing was cool, but seemed depressing. Enjoy the new, not as interesting, yet simple, background. Just blue. That's all. Anyway, here's some old and sorta embarrassing poems I still have from seventh/eighth grade when I first started writing poetry. I really don't know what some of these mean.

Pancakes

As I watched them get buttered I started to drool.
My mom stacked them on a plate as I pulled up a stool.
I stared in awe as the syrup was drizzlin'.
My dad yelled, "Let's eat! Everybody dig in!"
They were stacked high to low, from bottom to top.
I said, "Thanks Mom!" She said, "Be careful, they're hot!"
As I licked my chops, my mom said, "Eat them, you should."
So I shoved my face in and said, "Boy, this stuff is good!"

The Final Act

Life is a long and difficult task.
What words do you see behind the mask?
Battles are fought with heart-broken tears.
A Vineyard of Shadows contains the fear.
The joyous moment! Light the fire!
Hope pauses time and carries you higher.
Do not underestimate the strength and power.
Love grows on though this continious hour.
Both happiness and pain, you will attract.
But it all depends on the final act.

(No Title)

Sad stories that bring a tear.
Love is great, but brings forth fear.
Anger only brought cold-blooded wrath.
With happiness comes service, and a joyous path.
Revenge only brought a blind-sighted slave,
But then came Care, and that's all he gave.
Hatred came from a painful past.
Patience and Joy brought kindness to last.
Jealousy and Greed only brought stealth.
Gratitude brought freedom, forgiveness and health.
Oh, what a site! What a commotion!
When everything gives...even every, last emotion.

Why I Didn't Do My Homework

1)I had not time, my potty overflowed.
2)I hid in the cellar 'cuz I thought my house would explode.
3)I slept too long. 4) Aliens attacked.
5)I was going on vacation, so I had to pack.
6)My dog chewed it up. 7) I made a bonfire.
I watched my homework rise higher and higher.
8)I was in the E.R. because my cat is abusive!
9)I wrote a dumb poem that lists my excuses.

Grandmother

No more cheerful ugs, as a smile spreads across her face.
No more such divine, beautiful kindess or grace.
No more advice on living long or staying physically fit.
No more advice on marriage, even when you want to quit.
No more laughs and giggles from all our stories and tales.
No more praising victories and learning when we fail.
No more looking back on those good ol' days.
No more hello's and good-bye's, for Grandma has passed away.
Yes, our family's sad, we never knew when.
And yet, we are happy, because we know we'll see her again.

Limericks

The Oscar Meyer Weiner

There once was a hotdog names Oscar Meyer
Who stabbed his eye with a pair of pliers.
He ran home crying,
Afraid he was dying.
So he suddenly transformed into a dryer.

Ed
--Written by Joseph Wait and Myself

There once was a man named Ed
Who had no hair on his head.
He was very appalled,
Overnight he grew bald!
So he refused to get out of his bed.

Beetle Bug

There once was a bug with a wish.
He had all the strength of a fish.
He wanted to fight
To do what was right!
Too bad it all ended with a "squish!"
